@lavaeolus I did one for my field and still have it up, although most Africanists seem to prefer Bluesky. @Mareike2405 do you know more about the DH CSVs?
@rheinze @lavaeolus yes, this repository is still up: https://github.com/nathanlesage/academics-on-mastodon - the one for historians I also bookmarked back then seems to be down
@rheinze @lavaeolus actually it is still there, just needs some time to load, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zmuH0ffMpCNOEjsReMk5iiqGwiUvhO2TtrM8QKu98SE/htmlview#gid=844879137
@Mareike2405 I set up a new form + online viewer - I know, why keep on reinventing things that already exist...
But:
a) Those docs are hosted by/on Google and GitHub 🫣
b) They don't have a consent-mechanism backed in; mine is DSGVO-ok
c) They are quite outdated and one would need to check each and every account
Form: https://schoeneh.eu/index.php/apps/forms/s/D5s2YqHT634nDKTxb43eiJWr
Webview: https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/hr7T7/14/
Feel free to share and/or beta-test; I want to publicize this sometime next week (stuff happened)

We took some afford to assure, that the lists are opt-in. Otherwise they would have been excluded from the list. I am not aware of any complaints thought. But I am also always happy for better solutions. My bad for starting it on GitHub. I tried to move it to Codeberg at some moment, but that was not feasible for me at the moment. I startet it as a practical tool with the sociologist list, but I am anything but an accomplished developper.
@perspektivbrocken It was a really good idea! Please don't let me be misunderstood: I didn't intend to criticize your actions.
I was simpy thinking of an updated solution :)
But right now I am very buszy with other stuff (I couldn't have foreseen this stuff at time of proposing this idea)
@lavaeolus @Mareike2405 @rheinze
Didn't feel overly criticized, just wanted to make the opt-in part clear, as this was a discussion back then. Let me know in case you come up with something new, happy to share it and to add it to the page.
It was a quick and dirty solution, so never meant to be maintained in the long run, as I expected more elegant solutions will come up.
