I had an interesting experience driving a #Volkswagen #Passat a few days ago:
When I was about to leave the #Autobahn I changed on the exit lane that went off in a curve to the right. I started following that curve but the cars #laneAssist tried to make me steer back to go straight on a non existing lane.
I’m used to #cars’ lane assist being confused by the markings at construction sites, but this - to my eyes - was just a standard situation.
I am still quite irritated from this experience.
Yesterday the same car chastised me for not driving in the middle of the lane.
I have no idea why, my only guess is that a continuous small black stripe of bitumen on the lanes left (motorbikes hate this trick) was reflecting the sunlight in a way that confused the car.
